To me, it's all about the use cases here on the Steem blockchain.

While many don't agree with Ned and his actions at Steemit, Inc. I do agree with his vision of the Steem blockchain.

He is certainly not the right person to lead Steemit and execute, but his vision of a blockchain of opportunity is something that everyone should take more seriously.

As I sat down for lunch today, I talked about the Steem blockchain to a company friend of mine.

They work in the document storage and record keeping business and I was explaining the benefits of blockchain to an industry such as that.

We talked about a few other industries as well, but document storage is something that could readily be done with blockchain tech and I feel that blockchain is almost designed specifically with that kind of business in mind!

We wondered if Steem could present opportunities for their business.

I said yes. With the right developers and team behind it, of course.

They could build some sort of solution for their clients to log into the Steem blockchain and access documents via their app that is built on the Steem blockchain and leverages the Steem blockchain's capacity for data storage to store the documents immutably.

Maybe just a crazy idea.

Maybe something that they'll never actually execute on.

But ideas like this still hold value in my book! They are important when it comes to crafting a better vision of the future!
