Lord Shiva is a destroyer, the most powerful god of Hinduism. Also known as Lord of mercy and compassion, Lord Shiva gives wisdom by eliminating ignorance and evil. Lord Shiva is called Swayambhu. The story related to his birth is also very interesting.

According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva is one of the three supreme God. There is an interesting story behind Lord Shiva’s birth.

One day Brahma and Vishnu were debating which of them is powerful. At the same time, a huge pillar of fire stood in front of them. The roots and branches of the trees extend beyond the scene of the earth and sky. They tried to know the side and the end of the pillar. Brahma turned himself into a swan and flew over the top of the pillar and Vishnu turned into a pig and went to the bottom of the earth to find the roots, but could not find them. After this Lord Shiva appeared. Recognizing the great power of Lord Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu accepted that Shiva is the third highest God, who will rule over the universe.
