I woke up with thoughts of you in my head and that is my new reality.
I lose my way sometimes but your love brings back my sanity.
Can I always have this feeling forever?
Will you always last longer than the summer?
Will you always my evergreen song?
Will you never run out of style like fashion?
I can't put into words the way I feel when I watch you smile. The joy of beholding your smiles makes my heart leap for joy. I need you to know how much you mean to me because the hustle and bubbles of life can make people forget to tell another, how much they mean to them. This is me telling you, you are priceless.
I wonder how you did it. Your hold is strong and I am without chains. You keep me in a spot filled with your thoughts without touch. Every single day seems to go by so fast and that is because you give the most amazing feeling.
Oh, how the years go by. See how your love brings joy to my heart. I am happy because I am loved by you. You are love and love is you.
I sat down and ponder why I didn't meet you sooner. Is this how love feels to be held without touch? I am glad the best was saved for the last, if not, how would I be able to appreciate you better? I don't care how many hearts you have loved or how many lips you have kissed, I just want to be your first all over again and definitely your last.
I ran into the future and pictured us in old age
We are so free as the bird and never in a cage
They tried to measure our love but we burst the gauge
Every single day of our lives we start a new page
We have paid the price in past years so we enjoy the wage
We allowed our love to shine through as we shun the rage.
