TODAY IS VALENTINE's DAY and for that occasion I would like to invite you to join my little challenge
 | The other day I had the pleasure of having a little chat with a friend from Venezuela, who I have been in touch with for quite some time already. |

INTRODUCTION
He has been updating me often and lately he admited that the situation in Venezuela is becoming too dangerous to continue having a "normal" life any more.
 | I soon also found out that his family is preparing to migrate abroad in search of a better place . |

And he may not see his own wife and daughter for a very long time to come. It did break my heart. Partly because I'm about to be separated from my own beloved partner for the next 3 months or so. So I can relate to his pain and sadness
I hate that feeling and I would like to bury it. Even if just for a moment. So I came up with an idea ...
TONIGHT LET'S CELEBRATE
Tonight some of us will celebrate Valentine's day. For many it will be a special day with someone they love. And I would like that friend of mine to spend those moments with his wife, having a "normal" day in what seems to be days of ongoing chaos in Venezuela. Maybe going to the cinema, watching some movie and enjoying some popcorn. Doesn't it sound simple, but yet so unreachable for many?
I would like to make that possible for him and his wife and I hope you can be part of this journey and you will join our little "Valentine's Day Quest". And please do not worry. It will cost you nothing :) Just read next "chapter" and have fun being part of this little initiative.
VALENTINE'S Day QUEST
 Valentine's Day Quest | I came up with a small idea which I would like to call "Valentine's Day Quest". All I need you to do is to find at least 5 girls/women here on Steemit, who you've been engaging with and found them interesting and supportive. |

Once you do that then visit theirs accounts and wish them happy Valentines. You can also try to actually read their latest post and drop some valuable comment.
Whenever you complete that task, then just drop a comment below my post saying: Valentine's Day Quest completed.
IMPORTANT:
If more than 20 people will complete this quest, then I will allocate 60 STEEM from my own resources to cover cost of cinema tickets + popcorn for two of my amazing Venezuelian friends:

Yes, it would be great if everyone could have (in their own perception) a normal Valentine's day.
From the poor to the rich, one might find him/herself in a lonely place on such a special day of love.
A long time single guy like myself doesn't exactly become thrilled when they know they will be alone the entire day, but if I can spread some love here, I will be happy, because it's all about perception.
I love the Steem women, their all so friendly and beautiful.
I'm swamped pretty heavily with my online commitments, but if I am able, I will give my best go at completing this task. I think it's really great bro, you're an altruistic man with a good heart.

I'm not sure if I already informed you about my plans towards current delegations? As you may know I will be heading to europe soon and I realized that I may be quite busy catching up with Polish family once I see them again.
So I figured that I will extend all delegations for another 1 month (until end of march 2019). Just wanted to let you know :)

I found out about great contest where winning community can receive a year's delegation worth of 20k SP!
I realized that receiving such a delegation could help greatly to grow our community. After all I'm upvoting each valuable comment. On top of that, I'm doing my best to promote quality content published by other authors and again: I like to reward those who engage with those authors.
I know that it's probably a long shot and most likely our community won't stand a chance in this contest. But I love being the underdog! Let's give them a fair fight :)
