Quinn and I were both only eating either raw, vegetarian or vegan foods at the time, so focused our culinary expertise on high-vibe health. We began offering it to our friends and opened our home for our Friday Night Cafe to share our passion for food.

Now this is PESTO!!!!! Garden basil---raw/vegan/delicious...everyone loved this version of potent sweet basil....good on sandwiches, pasta, eggs, mashed potatoes, as a sauce for french fries, in sushi, soup....!!!

We made a list of some of our offerings and our specialty ingredients (much of which came from our garden), and would whip up special, individualized dishes for each of those who came according to their food preferences.

Raw Coconut Banana Pie

In the winter people would come donning their winter wardrobe to stay warm, we would build a fire in the wood burning stove, and feast together on our made-up-in-the moment delights.

In the warmer months we often did harvesting from the garden together before our meals.  During one summer season we opened the gardens for a buffet.  We made a spread of our homemade fermented veggies, pickles, spicy peppers, homemade vinegars, infused oils, olives, nuts and more.  We each took our plates filled with these bites out into the greens garden, hand picked a leaf of greens straight from the plant to combine with a pinch of our offerings from our plates, and enjoyed each delicate, unique bite made to perfection.

Vanilla, Rose, Mint Water

Every meal included huge bowls of salad (most of us would share with our fingers), our homemade kombuchas, and fresh garden herbal teas like lavender or chocolate mint warmed over the fire.

During many of our events we offered some of our most requested foods, including Quinn’s perfected homemade sourdough bread, our homemade ice creams,

Oh yeah.....Homemade Basil Ice Cream over caramelized sauteed ripe sweet plantains, a drizzle of lime and love.

Fresh strawberry, chocolate mint, chipotle, fudge swirl sorbet

activated water and tea,

Fresh, icy cold peach, GOE lemon basil infused water with GOE blackberries and GOE mulberries. Omg!! Mouthgasmic

our favorite house salad,

The most loved and requested salad - Fresh garden salad greens, sliced strawberries, homegrown blackberries, homemade candied pecans, garden chives and red onion slivers, spicy Eden Peppers, balsamic vinegar and our own  infused olive oils.

Hot pepper oil made from dried jalapeno and serrano peppers from the garden.

GOE grown candied pecans

curried nut pate,

Curried Nut Pate with cucumbers and avocado, drizzled with balsamic and home grown rosemary infused olive oil.

One way to serve the raw nut pate....garden cucumbers, garden tomatoes, cream cheese, a dollop of pate and parsley.

sweet potato hummus,

An overflowing bowl of sweet potato hummus. Another sweet recipe inspired by the garden.

and our raw raspberry cacao frozen cake and/or raw carrot cake.

On one particular occasion we had a houseful of people, a group that was inside, and a group that was outside.  We had prepared two huge salads for sharing.  One of our attendees was eating the salad inside where each guest piled high their own bowls of salad and spread around the room feasting on their own plate of heaven.  He then ran out to get in on the outside salad so as not to miss out on any of the offerings.  He adamantly remarked at how much better the outside salad was and was glad he had come out to share with our intimate group gathered together eating with our fingers from the same bowl under the light of the full moon.   He could not believe that any salad could be any better than what he had inside, but had to admit the outside salad made it so.  When I told him that the two salads were actually identical, he couldn’t believe it.  He came to the conclusion on his own that perhaps it wasn’t really only about the salad at all, but how the salad was lovingly being shared in such intimate communion that made all the difference.

We put our loving energy into that food, some from the soil up.  We loved creating the soil, planting it, growing it, harvesting it, creating meals from it, sharing it, touching it, consuming it, and then composting it again.

Quinn's and my love for each other, our love for what we were creating, and our loving connection with the food was encoded in every meal we shared.    The sacred communion was tangible.  This love grew and began to infect our greater community--oh so much more magnificently greater than ourselves!

The title of post challenge love to be unconditional has made me to start a book about myself and family. My mothers love for me was unconditional

Awesome!!! Glad to inspire!! And glad you got to experience that @melissaofficial.

@tonytrillions check this one brother😂

I might be your sister!

This is just too beautiful...

The more I know about the garden, the more I want to know about it. I can't just be tired of reading about the garden. The culture in there is more or less like an African culture. We love freedom as African, though you are taking it from another level that is far higher to what we practice here..

Hope to experience all these beautiful moments with you right there in the garden very soon.

Our food realities continue to expand and become more powerful and enjoyable everyday. We not only do food as we do, we also push the envelope in almost every arena. It's a path that's not for wimps! We are experiencing great transition, however, making some real shifts in our priorities.

Having you here would be awesome!

You guys are so much creative, no wonder you never run out of ideas.

The day I step my feet in the garden would be one of the best day of my life.... Smiles

Let's hope that happens and that we'll get to share our magnificent lives together!

I hope it does in a short while, can't wait to have a first hand experience of what you experience in the GOE

Lots of things shifting. We're building a powerful team taking action, and letting go of a lot of the things that have held us back. It's a great time for clarity and evolution.

It's such a beautiful thing to do. After all, change is the only thing that's permanent.
love to hear about it and would love to be part of it too...

Change is for sure that! We seem to get an awful lot of that happening on the regs!
