The best Valentine's Day gifts

Some people start preparing weeks before Valentines Day. Reserving the right place in the restaurant, choosing a gift or planing a holiday. Everyone is looking for something interesting and expressive too. As roses and chocolates became classic gifts, I am trying to find new long lasting ideas.

Letters and Poems
This is the most classic and old way to express your feelings. I remember this method from the high school days :) If you write fairly good poems, you can share your feeling and make your partner blush. Also handwritten letters with loads of hearts and some really sweet quotes, can do a lot.

A Rose Plant
Rose bouquets dont last for a life-time, but rose plants can stay in the garden forever like your love for each other. Well hopefully :P

Books
If your lover is a book reader, this will be the best idea. Books survive all the time, even in wars :P Also they train the brain and open doors to new ideas. And by giving your lover a book, he/she will always remember you whenever they see that book in their shelf.

Self Prepared Food
Yes you can order the best food from the most famous restaurant in the city, but it doesnt have the same effect. All you have to give is one or two hours of your time to get the perfect meal ready on the table. And more important is to spend enough time with your lover.

Gifts dont really mean a lot,because what you give is valued by what you do for the person. Even the smallest things done from the bottom of the heart can do wonders in a relationship :D
