Unrequited love is one of the most painful and devastating things a man can experience upon living in this physical world. It cuts the heart in tiny bits that is more than complicated to heal for some. It is even more complex as some men hide their vulnerabilities to others and pretend that 'everything is alright'.

Rejection in love shakes the ego to the core of some men that results in despair or depression. This is due to the fact that losing is never an option to them. The society is pressuring them to win. The mentality of being a victor most of the time is completely toxic as it makes men become stressed out and exhausted.

This rejection makes some men think how undesirable they are.

They wish they could be as dashing as those prominent actors that women could not resist. They wish they could be wealthy enough to provide whatever the girl, they desired to win in love, wants to have. How they wish they could be innovative and intelligent enough to attract women without any effort given.

All the different kinds of wishes set in. And the worst case scenario is some of them lose themselves in some ways.

One, some of them become alcoholic.

They drown themselves to heaps of alcohol believing that they surely forget about the hard truth of rejection. For sure they have known that these are such a good temporal comfort of their solitariness, but what makes it saddening is when they start forgetting that there's even more life ahead of them, other than drowning themselves to drinking. Drinking does barely help.

Two, those who lose motivation in life.

This is desperation, indeed. Surely, there are some men who are more sensitive than women. They may appear strong physically but emotionally unstable. When they are rejected from the woman they are attracted to, they consider it as such a huge failure in their lives. They do think that they're nothing but a dickhead. Failure is the scariest thing for them in this very world. The behavior may be traced to their childhood, perhaps not completely understanding the lesson of failing.

Three, the "If I can't have it, then no one else can" type.

This type of men is considered as mentally unstable. Surely you may wonder, is there such thing as like that? There is and that is obsession. Obsession can never be taken for granted most especially to those who start threatening. This is something awful that sometimes because they are rejected they plan to avenge the woman who hurt them - who caused their suffering. This is the worst and the scariest truth among the types given.

Rejection in love is a kind of failure. It is part of life. The ability of a man to brave the pain it brings and by being resilient is commendable. However, not all men are the same...This is the undesirable truth about rejection as some men see it.
