IT always works out in the movies; -get married and instantly activate the "happily ever after" clause. Hardly a word is ever said about the crippling, lifelong psychological damage that they're suffering..... Cooper('Silver Linings Playbook') might be the hero, but living under his fathers gambeling issues , divorced by his wife that also cuddles with his father& put a reistraining order on Cooper; NOW that have to do something terrible to his psyche.
Cinderella and Aurora who marry the first human male they've ever met in their lives o.O

Yet lots of us grow up with that fantasy, that the person we meet in the middle of some dramatic high-stress period is our soulmate just because....

Despite the popular opinion mirrors movies/Disney in believing that reaching 30 without A ring on that finger .. ;) -will result in a bitter depression:P
In fact, autonomy (the ability to do whatever you damn well please, whenever you want) is one of the best indicators of overall life satisfaction!!
Getting old; isn't a huge deal either, since we are seeing that people in general get happier as they get older.
So really, making it past thirty without a ball and chain allows you to have a super awesome, happy life
where you don't have to convince anyone else that popcorn, booze, and frosting counts as dinner ;)

I have had my share of RL experiences tho so I know life isnt like a fairytale... Life can be harsh and break you... But I still have hope and still hope to meet that, SPECIAL SOMEONE
