When people are in love, it is almost natural for them to love the things and people related to their lovers. Therefore, “Love me love my dog” can have double implication.

Positively, love is unconditional inclusive of accepting the weaknesses of their lovers. In the past, dog signifies a faulty animal which was dirty although nowadays it is a lovely pet.

Negatively, love can blind a person from recognising the flaws of one’s lover. Over time, condoning a person’s flaws would jeopardise and spoil the future of the person.

Authentic love should be unconditional and empowering. It is unconditional because you are able love irrespective of your lover’s strength and weakness. Further more, you are not blind, but is prepared to enable your lover to overcome the weakness. Hence, your love does not only unconditional, but empowering.

真正的爱应该是无条件及有力的。这是无条件的，因为你爱一个人不是根据该人的优点和缺点。此外，你也不是盲目的，你準备幫助爱人克服弱点。所以，这真正的爱不仅是无条件的，而且还具有改变的力量。
