ROBBER FLY
While shooting the Caterpillars in my backyard these guy i think got jealous and landed beside me to pose for a portrait. What choice do i have really?? While i hate the fact that these bugs prey on other flying insects including bees, they are an important part of maintaining the balance of insects. And while nowhere near as effective nor adorable as bees, you can see by the pollen in his hairs that they play a role in pollination too !!
