* Shots taken with the Olympus E-M5II and 60mm macro lens * Stacked with Zerene Stacker * Edited with Capture One
The main image above was created using the Olympus focus bracketing feature found on recent Olympus cameras. There is also a similar feature on recent Panasonic cameras. This feature really speeds up and simplifies the image capture process of focus stacking.
Watch the video below to find out how
The images below provide a summary of what is described in the video.
Check the menu settings
Compose your subject and set your initial focus point
Start the stack
Watch the changing focus point
Stop the stack
In this example I had 191 separate images which were imported into Capture One
I whittled them down to 94 images covering the range I wanted and then exported
them to Zerene Stacker
Here is Zerene Stacker doing its magic
The stacked image is then passed back to Capture One for some final editing to produce the final result
Thanks for taking a look at my photography

Thank you for the video on how to stack the photos @Brianphotos
This video was an excellent and proper instruction on how to implement these stacking on your macro images.
I thank you for what you teach me on this video.
I'm so pleased that you found it useful @siggjo. It makes it worth doing when I see a comment like yours. I'll try and do another video on how to use Zerene Stacker some time soon.
Thank You.
