These dragonflies are rarely far away from the water, where they lay their eggs and spend their pre-adulthood
Dragonflies are generally relatively large stature and perch with open wings or stretched sideways
Adult dragonflies have never been considered a bully or a pest.
The life cycle of dragonflies, from eggs to death after adulthood, varies between six months to a maximum of six or seven years.
