Some black and white macro shots [Original Photography]
The UK is in the middle of a heatwave - I don't think it's rained in our part of the world now for 2 months. The heat brings a lot of dead and dying vegetation but also brings out a lot of insects and bugs. The butterflies and moths have started showing themselves. Thought I would drop a few images that I took tonight of some of the creatures in our garden. Was cool to watch the spider eating its catch.

Sorry, i thought i replied to this before but it couldnt have sent. I use a hotshoe mounted flashgun with a lastolite softbox mounted on it.

Oh these are amazing... I have a serious obsession for moths and been trying to film some for a video and been painting them for next release. I bred silk moths when a child. I guess i am more moth than butterfly myself. Lovely shots
