BALLOON COTTON BUSH

While walking my dogs today I spotted this Balloon cotton bush, although it is a weed I thought it would make an interesting looking photo in black and white. The spines on the balloon shaped seed pods are soft to touch, though you wouldn't think so by the looks of them, and inside them are many seeds attached to long white tuffs of silky hairs.
