New feature - Dividends

The game is after announcing that they will be bringing out their own token in anticipation of SMT's coming in the future. Their will be 7 Billion tokens printed with 70% of them being released to the general public. The only way to get your hands on them is to earn them. Right now you can earn by playing at 200 Magic per 1 STEEM wagered or by delegation where you can get 50 Magic per STEEM delegated per week.

The easiest way to earn MAGIC tokens is by playing Magic Dice. For every STEEM wagered you will receive 200 MAGIC tokens. The distribution rate will be halved every time 5% of the airdrop tokens have been issued. There are no extra costs for receiving tokens. Magic Dice has the same 2% house edge as before. You will receive tokens no matter if you win or lose a bet.

Magic Dice will distribute 100% of the rewards to all token holders. If you hold 1% of the total supply, you will receive 1% of the profits. Magic Dice will distribute 70% of the tokens to players. At the beginning Magic Dice will hold a majority of the tokens and after time the community will hold the majority of the tokens. State of dapps

One place I would like to see an improvement from the game that can be done right now is with their marketing and promotion. I think a project like this has huge potential going forward and to bring other people into STEEM with these tokens and the dividends.

Looking on @stateofthedapps, @magicdice is sitting at 889th position on the charts even though it has the 40th highest users per week and the 20th most transaction value in dollars per week. For me this needs to be fixed as the numbers don't match up. Unfortunately their profile is only 55% filled out which is a huge factor in the rankings for sites like this so if anybody from the team read this it might be worth getting that profile fill out as you should be sitting inside the top 50 apps easily.

My thoughts

Overall I think that this is a great opportunity and one which I will be taking a chance on. I was playing the game anyway which from now on will be earning me MAGIC tokens while the take my STEEM but I will also delegate to the project since I like the vision. If STEEM gains mass adoption and the site starts turning over 100k STEEM a week, wouldn't it be nice to earn a cut of the profits. Since the distribution of tokens will half every 5%, now is the time to earn the most tokens possible. Over the course of 5 years if could be very profitable and as long as the site is still making profits then you will be earning a cut from them.
