Super Silver Haze x Northern Lights x Super Hash Plant (Week 8 of flower / Week 19 from seed )
Here is a mixed bag of feminized strains, Super Silver Haze x Northern Lights x Super Hash Plant.
All are at week 8 of flower. These are under a 600 Watt HPS bulb.
Would you chop these yet??? Let us know.
There's even some that are showing a little purple in the leaves. I hope this is due to genetics and not because of temperature fluctuations

Hey! Glad to see a post from you again! Those are very nice! I usually like to chop at peak THC. I recently just chopped a plant at 66 Days, and the trichomes where 60% amber. Could of waited longer, but I’m about out of smoke, which also makes me decide to chop or not.

So there are a number of opinions on when it's best to harvest. That's because the experience will change depending on the clear/amber ratio of the trichomes.
Personally we 'aim' to harvest when the majority of the trichomes are cloudy and around 30% are amber.
This actually becomes hard because the top of the plant is typically further along then the bottom of the plant. And since we're usually impatient at that point, rather than harvest branch by branch. We almost always harvest the entire plant at once.
Which we admit is kind of dumb, because most people don't harvest a tomato plant just because the top 50% of the tomatoes are ready...
Also Jon pretty funny criteria for chopping. Having no smoke...so they are ready...umm...NOW!!!!

Well I never harvest when the trichomes are clear, but once they are all cloudy, that’s the beginning of the window to decide to chop. And I’m sure as hell am not going to go buy any bud, cause what’s the point of growing? 🤠
Very true! But if you cut too early, you're gonna lose out as well.
Well that’s why I always have plants to replace the harvested ones😉 but right now I’m saving room for my Steem Og, first time I haven’t had one to replace in a long time. It’s actually kinda of nice. Kinda like a reset button.
Can't wait to only be outdoors. Where the lighting is FREE...
Getting close to a 3-4 month perpetual harvest cycle is pretty amazing. We are working towards that. However it's a little less frequent at the moment.
Thank you! Even on a small scale, it’s a lot of work. But I also know a big crop like yours is also a lot of work. That’s one thing feel out community can come to an agreement with, growing is not easy! Some people that grow can be really self absorbed, and go alone. I say fuck that, let’s come together!
