The Rising Oil Price, Inflation and Gold.
In this report I cover the early market action from London on Thursday, May 10th, 2018. I look at the precious metals, the stock market, the foreign exchange market and also the oil price.
I also look at the long term technical picture for the WTI crude oil and note that despite current claims that oil is going up because of the geopolitical events in the Middle East the main reason the oil price is going up is a result of the decade long central banking monetary policy of easy money like zero interest rates and quantitative easing.
I compare the CRB index (commodity index) to the price of gold in the last five years and note that in order to see the precious metals finally break out to the upside we need to see the overall commodities markets catch up.
My conclusion is that the price of oil could be quite close to triggering an overall move higher in the precious metals and commodities in general.

Good morning maneco64 totally agree with you my friend with oil prices although we wake up this morning to the escalations of trouble in syria and last nights israeli missile attacks! that strangely eluded the msm? update very appreciated as usual lets see what happens this afternoon? :)
