Inanam Night Market

in #market6 years ago (edited)

Just before sunset, @danieldoughty, @matthewdoughty and myself went to the night market near our place to get some meat and veggies.

We knew there's going to be a congested road to the market so we've decided to park our car a little bit further and walk there instead. To be honest, this is my first time walk through different sections before we reach to the butcher's shop.

I normally come to the night market just to get local desserts and never crossed my mind that I should go further inside the market and see what they are offering. There are so many varieties of thing you can find here - from foods, drinks, clothes, handphone gadgets to fishes, poultry and so on. The atmosphere was so lively with all the sellers shouting try to get your attention to visit their stall.

In order for us to get to the butcher's shop, we passed by the vegetable section.

Then the next section is the 'bundle' clothing. Bundle in Sabah means used clothing that is wrapped in sacks and was sold at an extremely low price. But not all clothes are used, some of it was never worn or old rejected stock from the factory.

It was actually a good walking around the night market, @danieldoughty and I think that it only the wet market is a little bit organized, we think it would be even more lovely and pleasant for more people including tourist to enjoy.
