Market Friday: Trip To Local Mexican Store
A couple of weeks ago we stopped at a local Mexican food store and much to our surprise they HAD EVERYTHING here.
I had been anticipating going back here one day soon, and today Mr. Golden D had a taste for some tamales!
So Come Along... Tamale & Taco Time
In the very back corner of this little store is a food counter. Tamales, enchiladas, chorizo Quesadillas, tacos, burritos and so much more can be made to order here.
Wall O' Peppers! ANY and all peppers imaginable are here!
Drink mixes and ALL sorts of packaged food are here too
We ordered a dozen pork and chicken tamales, a half dozen steak tacos and headed home to enjoy a rainy day indoors
Hey!! You are calling my name there Dawne!! @goldendawne I could really stand for a flautas with guacamole or maybe some menudo... stop! Just give me a taco with carnita filling! OMG I have been out of Texas too long!

Oh this little Mexican grocer was just wonderful! We're planning on going to another one that's further away as hubby heard this other one is bigger and even has a little cafe restaurant.
Maybe this upcoming weekend we'll be going.

howdy again goldendawne! ya know, we have a big Mexican supermarket in our local Texas town and man do they have everything you can imagine but they have a huge fresh meat and deli department too but it's wild to go in there an pick up unusual items that we've never seen before!
They did! They had some real unusual items and products in there. It was fun to just walk around and check it all out.
