Yep one of the nice things we were surprised to find in North Carolina was a couple of stores that had the "ingles" name on them. They were just big enough to have everything you needed, but not so big as to be a hassle! I really think that trying new things and having new experiences is the big advantage of travel!
That is like 20 cents cheaper than at my local Wal Mart
Its a really pleasant looking store, especially compared to Wal Mart. I mean just look at it...
Our lovely hostess @dswigle has been known to frequent Starbucks in her past Market Friday posts.
The cool thing is they even had plus sizes of many of our favorite brands!
Not a bad deal!

They do not have Ingles in Canada. They do of course have Walmart but not in Vancouver. Those bananas were cheap. They are cheap right now. My local has them for 66/lb; that is Canadian but I think Ingles still has them beat but our watermelons are also $3.97 and so there you go.

I've never heard of them before but it does look like a very nice store. I'm hoping to visit NC in the next couple of years so I will have to check them out. Love that you were still able to post while on the road! I really love the shots of the mountains..so beautiful!! ❤

I don't have an Ingles here, but, I am familiar with them. They are very much like an Aldi's in my opinion. Nice, small and carry just what you need. As an aside, my watermelon was $2.99 from my Harris Teeter here. I felt like it was a fair price, but, now I feel like it was a screaming deal.

I think the food is just cheaper here than most places. Go figure.
