For better for Worse
PixabayThere is a statement that couples getting married are expected to openly voice out. It is a very powerful statement that most people don't really know just what is involved in that single statement.
For better for worse
Most aspiring couples are always caught in the euphoria of love and getting married that they fail to really consider what is involved. They stand at the altar and in their excitement utter this very deep words without a proper grasp of what they are saying. The results of their ignorance is seen when just after few years into marriage, they want out.
A sense of regret comes in and love just seems to not be enough to keep the marriage. Everything just changes when the worse part of the above statement sets in. Marriage is sweet when things are better but when the worse part comes, very few people hold on to the above declaration and make i through. In fact, what some people actually meant when they are voicing the above statement in reality is
For better for us
It might sound funny but true. We must truly understand what we are getting into when we voice out the above words. I was inspired to write this because, I was sitting infront of my TV screen watching a movie where a man just discovered that the woman he married and loves is a Kleptomaniac. What a worse scenario he has to handle right?
So I just sat there and I was thinking to myself if I will be strong enough to stand by the woman if I was in that man's shoe. Then the picture of their vows on the altar came to my head. He never would have imagined this was part of the worse parts he will have to handle but it happened. And he has to keep to his vows and stand by her. These are moments when love is truly tested. The worse momemts and not the better moments. It is sad only few people are strong enough to pass this test.

I would hope that if a couple is taking an appropriate amount of time for their courtship before getting married, he would know that she's a kleptomaniac before marrying her!
Courtship is very important for sure bro.
But I believe no matter how long you put into it at times, you only discover somethings in marriage. Marriage sometimes comes along with some changes that were not there in courtship you know.
As for the Kleptomania issue, is it not possible maybe it just came up while in their marriage?
