Mastercard to follow the Blockchain way !!!
Big news i think for crypto lovers as well as technical fans all over as the world leading payment gateway and Financial services provider MasterCard just filed a patent for a blockchain system.
This is a big step forward by some centralised corporate and this could be a giant leap forward for all of us who are the lovers and supporters of the decentralised world and who knows in the future we might not have to be dependent on banks who just act as a middle men and we could be free to move money anywhere around the world.
But that's far too ahead this is basically to add a security layer using the blockchain technology which get rid of skimming of the cards.... it was mentioned that from the sources that it was filed under as “Method And System For Payment Card Verification Via Blockchain”
Well that just showcase how big blockchain technology is and we are on the verge of experience a huge revolution in time challenging times but its fun to be here lets make history steemians :)
