Why some people like to consider that we shouldn't lead our life in materialistic pursuit?

People who are of the view of avoiding leading one's life in pursue of materialistic pursuits are mostly found to be the religious ones. They actually say this because of the existence of the hereafter or afterlife which everyone will surely experience. In short, they do claim that we will surely die and we can never take our materialistic possessions with us once we leave this world.

This doesn't means that we shouldn't acquire some materialistic assets or items but we should just be very careful regarding this and it shouldn't be our major priority sometimes. Some people are just too callous and desperate when it comes to materialistic pursuits because they can do anything just to stay wealthy. Some people don't care about killing or hurting people just to be wealthy and famous. The fact is that you may be the richest and the most popular person for now, but as time passes someone will surely take your place. What's the essence of killing people or doing desperate things or growing wild all in the name of materialistic pursuits even though you aren't going to die with them?

It is also important we make money because life becomes so easy and sometimes meaningful when there is money. We tend to enjoy life and see the beauty of life also when we acquire some materialistic items but that does not stops us from doing things that will earn us success in our afterlife. I suggest that we make use of some part of our materialistic items to secure success in our afterlife just as we've secured it in this world.

We can achieve success in this world and the hereafter by making positive impacts with our materialistic items. We can start engaging in charity just for the purpose of helping people. We can also start motivating others and giving hope to those whom seem to be hopeless with some of our materialistic items.

Your impact on people's lives will never be forgotten and this will surely add more to your success in this world and the hereafter. A good example of this can be observe from Musing.
