Yesterday I was in the forest and found a large herd of turkey tail mushrooms (trameta versicolor) on a fallen tree trunk. They're all fresh, grown within the last two days, so I'll have them developed for another three days before I go back to harvest them. In this condition, they are very elastic and feel fresh and moist.

The amount of control the governments have us under is criminal. One of the largest obstacles I have come across is sourcing valid information as I have slowly been woken up to how vast this issue of lies has become. I have taken to eating mostly organic (which is not cheap) and make my own oregano oil pills. But I have tried several things over the last couple years that I saw no results from, and every month it seems a dozen new things are said to do that there simply isn't enough time nor money to incorporate. And as you mentioned in your post, people long ago knew these things and they did not have thousands of new things as we are told in the alternative health area today are needed.

Thats the most difficult task. All natural healers are surrounded by disinformation, pharma counter propaganda, and many other attempts of infiltration and undermining sucessful alternative concepts. Just look what happened to hemp. The most useful plant to human kind, after 5000 years of it is forbidden to grow a fucking hemp plant I think it would be a good idea to make a podcast with this title: how does one discern the bullshit from the truth? So much this, they lie so much from supposed experts it feels like looking at a pile of hay and knowing a handful of them amidst the millions of pieces are the truth, but my ignorance keeps me from knowing how to recognize the right ones when I see them.
Our earth is really mystery and i strongly believe that nature is hiding many healing plants and in my opinion the ancient people were more aware of Healing plants and slowly when we started to live materialistic life and when we slowly left the natural life or close to nature life we loose that awareness of things which nature holds, and good to know this 5000 year old stuff and it's really really informative too, and good to see you are forest explorer too.
In my opinion the medical industry of this era is just like profit making entities leaving some percentages of Hospitals all over the world, and the majority are the same and i will give crisp and strong example, for example if a person need urgent operation regarding something and we that operation is not done then that person may die, and when that person went to hospital, they advised of heavy bill and that person was lacking strong financial Background, so that person advised i don't have that much money and i can't afford any loan too, then hospital personnel replied then your operation will not be done, so here one thing is clear and that is, If you have money then hospital will operate you, and if you don't then they will kindly say go and die means they will reject the operation. So we should not lose the humanity essence because we are essential part of the nature and if we lose humanity then nature will take over us or nature will cleanse us.

The bright side of this is that the pharma industries have not yet ransacked the forests to hijack the healing mushrooms. The only way for this ancient knowledge tu survive, thus giving the human race some hope, is by having tight community ties, sharing knowledge with those willing to embrace it, and boicott those who missuse our trust.
