Stray dog in Mexico
This is my dog "Jerónimo"
He is like 3 years old and he was rescued from the street 2 years ago. We decided to adopt him in the spot because of his eyes (he looks kind of sad but wise).
We live in Mexico where we have a big problem with stray dogs. A lot of people buy them and a few months later they dump them in the street. They reproduce with other stray dogs and is a problem with no ending and a lot of suffering.
We need better education, programs and compassion for other species.
Dogs are about as smart as a two- or three-year-old child. This means they can understand about 150-200 words, including signals and hand movements with the same meaning as words.
