10 million fake accounts are reported every week

According to this blog post, fake and automated accounts are registered 9.9 million (i.e., about 1 crore) per day in the company's system. Which is much higher than 6.4 million December last year and 3.2 million in September 2017. According to the blog post, the company said that since last year due to technology and process improvment we are removing more than 214% of fake accounts every year. This figure can increase year after year. At the same time, 17,000 accounts were reported every day in our system in March this year, which is less than the February 2018 (25,000 accounts per day). Apart from this, after the new change, the number of spam accounts has decreased by 10 percent.
