59 Reputation, 500 Followers, and 500 SP // Am I One of the Cool Kids Yet?
Hey all! Just wanted to go on a short bout of excitement about reaching a few Steem milestones - I’m finally at 59 rep, true Minnowhood (over 500 SP), and 500 followers! :D
I’ve been Steeming practically as much as possible for the better part of a year, and it feels really good to be slowly climbing the ladder. I owe most of my SP earnings to the Steemit Open Mic team and @curie, as well as my generous pops @imcrius. A big thank you to them and all of you for helping my little account grow :)
The 5th place winnings from last week’s Open Mic allowed me to shift into minnowhood - I’m gonna be real honest, it was a really difficult decision to make between Powering Up and throwing 26 Steem at new SteemMonsters cards :P But as I was sitting at 480 SP, I figured it was only right to hit the 500 SP target that became in range.
I know that people complain about the Reputation system being all f**ked up here, but I still take pleasure in watching that little number next to my account name tick up. That logarithmic curve is a cruel mistress... Looks like it might be a while until 60 based on how long it took to get from 58.5 to 59, lol.
And thank you so much to @themusiclover for being my 500th follower! He just made his first Steemit Open Mic video, and it sounds gr8! Go czech him out and welcome him to Steem :)
