Making sacrifices for a better tomorrow

It's almost 2 weeks now since I moved from home and I am missing family, my choir back home, brethren and the members of WVED. The other day I was looking at some pictures of our read at home challenge and It triggered some emotions in me. I started thinking about the event which was my very last activity before I left WVED organization. It was one of fun and we really had amazing performances from the kids. They also showcased their talents and the cakes they made during the camping session.

I am for sure going to miss them all and our club activities but I guess that is what it takes to move forward in life. One has to be ready to let go of some of the things he holds dear to move forth and grab the new thing he desires.it is not easy but it is a necessary sacrifice that brings happiness in the end and one day, I strongly believe one will look back and be glad that he made the right choice. Nothing good comes easy and some good things are only achieved through the hard way.

That's why anything obtained through hardwork is treasure and cherished. That's what makes it pretty special anyways. Anything gotten easily or obtained without struggle is not cherished as much. I treasure the struggles of today because they serve as memories and the struggles of today will spearhead the successes of tomorrow. One day, we will all look back at the days of our struggles and smile over it and thank God we made the decisions we made, we stood strong till the end and with a smile enjoy the fruits of our labour.

Whatever sacrifice you are putting in for yourself, family,friends and loved ones; I want t say be encouraged to continue forging ahead for the efforts and sacrifices you make today will shape your tomorrow. Always have it at the back of your mind that everything you do or go through is for a better tomorrow and continue forging ahead.
