Fishing for Steem on steem.craft

in #minecraft5 years ago

You can sign up at @steem.craft with an authentic version 1.12.2 of Minecraft and go fishing for Steem.

First get a fishing rod from the fisherman dude:

Then go fishing (duh!).

That's Immanuel94 is the background. He's very friendly and helpful and his english is pretty good.

Anyway, when you fish you catch fish (duh again) and sometimes some other junk (yes the water is poluted also in minecraft).

You go to Mr. Wuff and trade your fish. Most of the time he'll give you cookies which when you eat will give you Talen (currency). Sometimes he'll give you iron nuggets (which I really don't know what they are used for).

With the other junk you catch, you can go to the trader dude and trade it for Talen.

To check out how much Talen you got, click on the blockhead in the inventory and go over to the sign.

To cashout, you go talk to the banker dude.

Now here it's a bit tricky:
You click on the banker dude but to talk you also have to press the "t" key.
Then select cryptosomething, it'll give you a chioce beteween SBD and SP.
Then while talking, /payout [amount]
Then conferm.
The amount should show up pretty quick on steemit.

There's also a lot of other stuff to do (like the hourly minigame) which I'm still trying to figure out because basically the site is in german and I speak english.

Well done, nice for english speaking people. =)

Hey @pompe72! =)
Nice little tutorial, good to have some help for people. The server is available at join.skyroad.me and a english version is coming in the future too.

I tried to keep it simple, just the basic "Fish for Steem". Once they sign up, then can eventually figure out the rest.
What am I supposed tio do with the Eisennugget from Mr. Wuff?

Currently, you can't do much with it, there are some plans to do some daily missions or something like that. Like a iron golem at the end of a little jump and run who needs some iron to repair...^^

Would be better on minetest

Minetest is a free software near infinite world block sandbox game and a game engine, inspired by InfiniMiner, Minecraft and the like.
You can see some gameplay posted by user @minetestvideos

Yeah, the server owner looked into minetest. But there is a major difference between using Minetest and Minecraft. Playing the game should not only give you money, but also give you the opportunity to have fun with others on the server and Minecraft has a big team of fulltime developers to ensure a very nice experience.
Mojang has sold over 29 million Minecraft Java Versions (154 million if you include consoles and bedrock edition) already, there is a big userbase to get. Not only people on STEEM, but introducing more people to STEEM trough the server.
