PALnet - not hyped review

In crypto community there is a trend - new project = free money. And that generate much hype. Everyone trying to write anything about it to get a share. For now u can get your first Palcoin from upvotes or buying it from steem-engine. Probability that i can get Palcoin from upvote is very close to 0, so i can reject the hype and try to write honest opinion about the project. Maybe it will be useful for someone.

Palnet.io is a steem interface, very similar to steemit, but it has own token - Palcoin, traded on steem-engine, there is a sell wall set by palnet creators as token sale at 1steem per 1palcoin.

U can Power up/Stake your tokens, and u earning them by curating or from upvotes. Palnet operate on steem blockchain so everything you do on palnet will show up on steem. Posting on Palnet = posting on steem, upvoting on palnet = upvoting on steem. And vice-versa when u use "palnet" tag. Rewards mechanism at Palnet is close to mechanism we will get on steem in future update.

U can also mine Palcoin, mining tokens(miners) available at steem-engine. There will be also claimdrop, so everyone will get some tokens, then project will start for real. Cause for now very limited number of people have Palcoins.

Interesting thing for me is that u don't need to use their interface to play with palnet, u can just use palnet tag in your posts, and your posts are included on palnet, u can earn palcoins. You can see plenty of possibilities here for any project which can operate on tag and have similar/better reward distribution than steem.

Where is value in palcoins?

• or for customization and advertising in the PALnet Discord

This project may also raise a competition between bots. If am going to use bidbot would be nice if it have some Palcoins then i can get it too :)

As am not going to buy palcoins or miners, i need to wait a little bit for claimdrop to play with it. We need to wait anyway to see how its going to work at scale. Am happy that there is more and more projects based on steem, competition is raising and it will have good influence on steem and steem users at the end.
