Sudden Minnows Flurry on Steemit !
Quite surprised by a sudeen spike of Minnows talk on Steem(it). With Steem prices are down and so as no whereabout of missing Whales, Orca and Dolphin from Steemit, it was kind of lull atmosphere till Minnows started to make a wave.
Red Fish and Minnows , The two most important Fish of Steem pond that keep the platform happening with all the contents sharing are coming in limelight again. Though still nothing in terms of reward but still many new initiatives for them especially for Minnows. @paulag is already doing the "The Red Fish Power-up league" for the user having less than 500 sp.
Lately, there were so many things started to happen for Minnows too. A good chance for many Minnows to make a mark at the steem downtime and make themselves count on this amazing platform. Few of the initiatives that I came across are and also that keep me and many hooked in coming days.
Minnowuprising :
A great initiative by @taskmaster4450 for the minnow with HF20 in sight. It count on the progress of each minnows on steem(it) over the month. To get into it there are certain Parameter to follow :
Make 3-4 posts a day. Which is quite feasible, considering so many dapps like @dlike, @steemhunt, @actfit @dtube etc available for the offering.
Use of tag #minnowuprising in all your post. To easily identify your post.
Make use of your voting on other #minnowuprising user. To help each other grow on steem.

Minnows Power-Up :
To determine the weekly progress of each minnows. A great boon for Minows and initiated by @steemcommunity (a joint witness effort by @paulag and @abh12345). This is a weekly report on the progress of each of the minnows. Those who want to make themselvees count must acknowledge their entry into the league by commenting on weekly post.
It calculate the minnows progress in terms of accumulated Steem Power over a period of 7 days. The league already divided into 4 different level as per current SP holding and each level there is some prize up for grab.
- Level 1 : 500 to 1500 SP
- Level 2 : 1500 to 2500 SP
- Level 3 : 2500 to 3500 SP
- Level 4 : 3500 to 5000 SP

Curation & Engagement league
I think the most engaging place on Steemit i ever been to. A great initiative by @abh12345 and prizes powered up by @curie. A simple league that calculate your engagement level on Steem blockchain.
Open for anyone, the leagues is talking things on Steemit. In the race to the top, everyone is engaging themselves with other user and making the dull steemit atmosphere the most running and happening.

If I can give some tips to minnows. 1. Try steemhunt and dlike both are good for getting upvotes on your posts. Steemhunt is for product reviews and its quite easy to do a good hunt that will earn you HUNT Tokens which is gonna be a SMT. 2. It is really hard to get people to upvote comments these days so try comment coz show geniune interest cause you are probably not going to get more than one upvote on a comment. Just my opinion

Thanks @roloyolo for some great input...@steemhunt is quite a good prospect considering #minnowuprising in place....but i doubt on your second point. You can get multiple upvotes on a comment from diffetent authors. And yes commenting is always good wsy to engage ....help in building good community....
