A curse of dowry

Dowry practice means that the money and property etc. are those which are given to the party on the behalf of the girl side in the marriage. In addition to this it is decided before marriage and given to the bridegroom with the bride side. In ancient times, this dowry practice was practiced only in high clans, but in the present age, it has often started in every family.
Due to this dowry practice marriage has become a business system. This is similar to the enemy of Hindu society and a stigma on it. Do not know how many houses have been wasted in this. Some have brought on the brink of hunger and have forced many wives to choke and die in a very short age. Due to this practice, many marriages have taken birth in the society like child marriage, unmarried marriage and divorce. This has stopped the progress of society. Due to this dowry practice, many women are killed after being married after marriage. Due to this many families become unhappy after the birth of a girl
This is a curse for our society. We should do our best to get rid of this. For this, we can encourage young people to inter-caste marriages because the area to look upwards extends. In addition to this, the government should campaign against dowry in the society with the help of social reformers, poets, novelists, journalists and filmmakers etc. Emphasis should be on women education so that they can face this practice stubbornly. This dowry system is spreading in our society to the abuser of the time. This practice is taking the day to day tremendous form. Gradually the whole society is getting into its grip. Therefore, we all should end the root of this practice only then our society can move on the path of progress.
