Mom, I Hear You Calling
We Got The Beat!
Candle In The Wind!
Mom was quiet, today. And, maybe a bit down, when I went to visit. So today, I remembered, she loves music... I put on a little Elton, and before the second or third beat, Mom was bouncing in her seat, and tapping her feet.
the bouncing is so amazing to see. Usually, she's a bit listless. the energy is gone now, more than not. She's older, and getting weaker. Rarely leaves the wheel chair. She perks up whenever I visit. Or my brother.
But, to get her going? really going? A little night music. A beat, and anything catchy. She's moving and tapping to the beat. It makes her come alive.
To the animals and birds around me
to put more plants in than I take out
And be a good steward for the world around me!
