Why the poor stay poor - Part 2

in #money-mindset5 years ago (edited)

About a week ago I posted an article with the same title - "Why the poor stay poor" - from the perspective of Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

He talked about this issue mainly from an education point of view: we're simply not taught how money works, and how to deal with it, at school. Let's call this "educational programming".

But there's another kind of programming, which keeps most people from having a healthy relationship with money, which is...

Biological Programming

This is what happens to us in the first 6-7 years of our lives.

Why is this so important? Because even if we had all the education about money in the world, we might still be unable to ever live without money worries, let alone create a substantial amount of wealth.

Even if we know "more needs to come in, than goes out"; even if we study all the rules of business; even if we're good with numbers and book keeping - we may still struggle and never quite be able to create a sustainable income or invest for the future.

Why? Because what we learned in our very early childhood years got so absorbed in our subconscious, that it has become our programme. And it's nearly impossible to overwrite this subconscious program simply by putting more knowledge in our conscious mind.

So, if we watched our parents struggle with money or maybe fight over it, or we got taught that "if we're poor in this life, we'll be rich in the afterlife" or something - then our subconscious mind will do everything to protect us from money - all our life - because its main job is to keep us safe.

We've literally got hypnotised in those early years, and as we got older, we started living this program and repeated our given behaviours again and again and again.

In this short clip Bruce Lipton explains exactly the WHY and HOW

Even though things can't be solved on a conscious level, of course there are solutions: the programme needs to be overwritten in the subconscious mind - where it's located. He talks about that from around 3:25 min in.

This is not the same as Genetic Programming

And even if it were - thanks to Epigenetics - a field that basically says "Mind over Matter" in Biology (and which was discovered by Bruce Lipton long before it was officially given that name) we are not stuck with our genes.

We can be smarter than our genes. We can overpower them and reprogram ourselves.

This programming can happen later in life as well

Mostly, though, through shock experiences, accidents, etc. Not in the same way as in our early childhood.

Personally I've had a very good relationship with money all my life. I've been lucky.

But in 2015, I had an experience that deeply affected me and showed up in my relationship with money for a couple of years. I've often heard myself say, "It's like money and I broke up!" ;) And I couldn't figure out why. The sneaky thing about the subconscious, is, well, that you're not conscious of it :)

Of course, the first thing you try and do is to learn and to consciously look for solutions. The good thing that came from all this, is that I began to study money. I took a trading and investment course, etc., and eventually found crypto through that. Everything happens for a reason.

But it's only once I found a way to access my subconscious mind, that I finally understood the cause, and could actually heal it at that level and go back to my old (good) programme, where money could begin to flow again.

The simplest way to reprogram yourself

The laziest way is reprogramming yourself while you sleep :) I've written about this here (again with Bruce Lipton's help :))

Another way is Faster EFT, a method I am fascinated with so much, that I'm very tempted to learn it, so I can help others with it - especially when it comes to money.

It's the fastest way to discover old programs and to change them. There are hundreds of videos on this channel, but I invested in a couple of sessions with Faster EFT practitioners, which have been invaluable.
I highly recommend trying this out, if you're struggling with something that you just can't seem to solve in your life - whether it's money related or not.

It's incredible what happens when we shift our energy on such a deep level and how fast we see the results and evidence show up in our lives.

Yes, I can imagine, thanks for sharing! There's so much guilt and shame attached to money, it's incredible. I don't know how I managed to have a good relationship with money - having grown up in communism, LOL.
