Today's post will be a kind of comment to @meno's publication called Does it really need a blockchain?

In that post @meno he tells us that the world of crypto coins is not for everyone and less for people who don't like to thoroughly investigate some project in which he wants to invest because they will very likely lose time and money. I totally agree.

Thanks to last year's bull market, hundreds or even thousands of people, they have been given the great idea of creating or launching a crypto currency and I'm not saying that they can't do it, none of that, they are fully within their rights to do it, the problem of this situation is that many don't have the usability for such a project to grow.

The other problem this brings is: There are millions of people who believe that they are going to find in one of those assets without usability or with a "strange" system of operating the "new Bitcoin" or the "holy grail" and that is very unlikely to happen and if they do not investigate is much less likely to find any.

This reminded me of the big BitConnect scam. They gave an interest rate of up to 1% per day for lending money to the platform and that's too much for any project from Where are they going to get that 1% per day? and if that wasn't enough, they had several levels referred to, that means you would earn money for attracting unsuspecting people to your platform.

Research was started on this company to try to determine where the money came from and they found out that it was a ponzi system. What happened to the value of the currency? It went from a value of 430 dollars to less than 10 dollars in several days and currently no exchange allows it.

A different situation, but certainly related to people who do not take the time to investigate a project, is what happened in January with John McAfee.

This gentleman mentioned some supposedly good quality of any crypto currency and people would go like sheep following the shepherd to buy it and end up "pumpeandola" and those who read the tweet late and bought the coin, ended up trapped or lost money if they sold a few minutes later.

I dare say that: The people who say that the world of crypto currencies is a scam (and they are partly right) are precisely those who invest money thinking about earning much more in a few days and at the end they come out with losses and this happens to them because they put their capital in any "project" that they see or hear will be successful without first doing their own research.
