A Clear Heel To Getting Rich QuicksteemCreated with Sketch.

Hey Jesstrippers

I'm sitting here at my PC going through all my emails, catching up on work after a bachelor party weekend. While the weekend like this for most would be one of drunken debauchery which it very much was for me, it put me on a certain thought pattern I could not shake. As I sat there watching this stripper entertain the band of drunken guests all I kept thinking of was what is your real motivation do choose this as your job.

Perhaps you enjoy being naked and being objectified and there are people who like it and by all means, if thats your thing more power to you. But I think for most its purely an economic benefit, its very little time and work for money that you would not earn doing other tasks you are qualified for.

If we broke down a strippers hourly rate it would match only a few high powered CEOs monthly salaries in terms of time spent vs money earned. Not many people can be a CEO of a major company, the barrier to entry is high, I get that so I wondered what are you doing with this money.

Earning Income or putting your income to work

So you're making a reasonable amount of money from your shows and if you would like you could do other work during the day, that doesn't involve getting your tits out and use these incomes to supplement various investment opportunities. As a cash-rich individual you could take advantage of a number of opportunities as opposed to someone with a salary who needs to wait each month to make moves.

Setting up various passive income streams that will compound as you still have a strong earning potential. I'm not really sure how long a strippers career is but I don't think its earning potential is high for very long unless you offering "ancillary services".

I mean if you're going to perform what some would consider a demeaning job, surely you'd want to use that to strive for financial independence and know it was all worth it because you'll never do it again.

So why aren't more strippers more financially sound?

Living rich instead of being rich

Could be a number of reasons, a kid, drug habit, supporting a family, high debt but it also could be a poor financial education. The majority of the world do not have financial education, so giving someone more money doesn't make them more responsible with money. The money earned is often money squandered because we weren't taught how to use it.

When money comes easy, it leaves even easier. What I'm trying to say is most people have that Strippers mindset, its no different in the way a lawyer, doctor or the secretary sees the salary they receive. In fact, you are all Strippers, stripping yourself of opportunities by not using the money you earn, effectively enough.

I guess it would only be me thinking of financial literacy when someones shaking their bare naked ass in front of me, oh well.

Personally I think you would make an amazing stripper and I would sent you Bitcoin to see you dance lol Steem Strippers let’s make it happen

Hi @chekohler

How was your bachelor party? I'm surprissed that you could focus on work and steemit :)

As I sat there watching this stripper entertain the band of drunken guests all I kept thinking of was what is your real motivation do choose this as your job.

The truth is that most people will never be able to understand why strippers got into those jobs in the first place. Hardly ever they have control over their own lifes. That's sad reality.

But I think for most its purely an economic benefit, its very little time and work for money that you would not earn doing other tasks you are qualified for.

Perhaps it's worth to ask yourself a question: do those people really earn good money? I hardly doubt so. They are more often than not simply slaves of their own life. Addicted to drugs, which their "management" may provide. To scared to say "no" to those who really are cashing out on their work.

While reading your post, it may sound that strippers are earning a lot. But that's just far from the truth. Plus you can do that kind of job only for that long. Your body, your mental state -> everything is being exploitet. And competition is insane.

Anyway I understand that it was supposed to be introduction to next part: Earning Income or putting your income to work

ps.

Setting up various passive income streams that will compound as you still have a strong earning potential.
Perhaps you will find this passive income program worth checking out: www.projecthope.pl/passive_income

Good read. solid upvote on the way :)

It was a lot of fun lol still recovering from it mentally and physically! I am not saying that strippers are working away with millions but the reason they do it has to be for the economic incentive vs the time spent! I mean if it wasn’t then any casual job would have been an option

All I’m saying is that if one was smart with the money it wouldn’t take you long to build up some capital to do other things with if you know how to manage money properly

If people actually knew how to work with money jobs like these might not be as attractive to people!

Also lots of people are profiting off of them if they work in clubs Vs working as a freelancer!

I just thought that with a little budgeting and investment advice this woman could put herself in a great position financially if she doesn’t have too many dependents or a drug habit

I will have to invest my money from once I sell my house. Get that money working for me.

If it’s not working for you it’s working for someone else, that’s the unfortunate fact of money

For a long time I believed that it should be made easier, not harder, to put your money to work. After all, we live in a world of automation. Stagnant money should be a crime. Arrest all the wealthy for sucking the life blood out of the earth for their greed in inhibiting the growth of the economy at the foundation.

You are right that it should be easier but the problem is capital is being hoarded or put into zombie companies that are pushed on us and funded until they become monopolies so they can control the flow of money even more

While they are to blame, we as a consumer are to blame to, giving up so many rights for the sake of convenience and supporting these businesses instead of supporting small business. If we focused on SME's and much less finance on cars, homes and unfortunately not helpful education we could put capital work and create a system where value is created and spread more evenly

put capital work and create a system where value is created and spread

Well put. Sry for being late in replying. Was busy with non crypto.

Most certainly, it is the consumer who needs to take responsibility. We have fallen into a lull, and with social media at our disposal no less. This is not the natural state of human beings, to be led by a few. The Bible teaches us that independent farmers were the capacity of all. Many were versed in the Word and could build and sustain life to a very high level. The modern world has let the word "provider" mean a State or Corporation. Again, this is not the natural state of any human being.

To sum up, I agree with you.

I agree, completely unnatural. Its turned people into just another commodity the system uses the labour where it's needed to extract value. Just as the earth is being plundered for its resources, human labour is no different.

Those in the financial economy are so far removed from the production economy they don't even realise the devastation they cause. Each time unemployment goes up people die in their 1000s, each time you push rent costs up companies close, people go homeless its a wealth concentration system that isn't going to change

We need to change ourselves and move to something different, crypto is it for me

Indeed. We need to realize the catabolic nature of the system. Humans preying upon humans. Human beings who have lost the appreciation of the innate creative ability looming inside each and every one of us.

The Byyzantime empress Theodora might make a good role model for contemporary strippers :-)

Theodora: the empress from the brothel
"Theodora lived in an era of huge changes in the church, language and statehood. What had been Roman was about to become Byzantine, and the eastern regions around Syria, the Levant and Egypt were clamouring to use their own languages, hinting at self-determination. Just 20 years after Theodora's death the Prophet Muhammad would be born."

"Despite the huge amount of history written about the period, Theodora was largely overlooked. In Procopius's Secret History, which current studies believe was written not long after her death in 548, she is a kind of Mrs Machiavelli. He calls her "Theodora-from-the-Brothel", lasciviously details her antics on stage – from allowing geese to peck grain from her lower torso, to dancing naked but for a ribbon – and has her saying she regrets God gave her only three orifices for pleasure. When he goes on to describe her husband, the emperor Justinian, as a headless demon, we can assume not everything he wrote was utter truth."

That’s a pretty interesting read! I say own it, I don’t really have the time to judge people on their occupations! As long as you’re not hurting anyone in the process knock yourself out!

I think that people focus so much of their energy on the making money part and way too little on what to actually do once I have it

Thank you so much, I’m glad you enjoyed the piece lol seems like it’s a hit with a lot of steemians

It's good to know that even in the middle of a show like that you can draw interesting conclusions from the work we do.

It's about culture. I guess in this case we're talking about consumption. This type of work only leaves a gap to consume, saving is not part of its language.

Oh, I agree, thats how they keep you working if you have no savings you have to keep working making it easier to keep extracting wealth from your labour. NO company employees people unless they can profit from their labour in hand or in mind.

Its a cycle people do not realise, and will struggle to break out of it unless they are taught. It needs to be exposed, too many people don't know how money or the economy works. Its all mumbo jumbo all they care about is the price of goods and their salary and don't understand that it is all made up

@chekohler, One point is absolutely right and that is many didn't pursued Financial Education and we saw where it leads many. Stay blessed.

It’s so important to learn how to use money or you will only end up wasting it and chasing it which is what most people are doing
