MAPX continues to increase its SP and now testing the TRENDO tipping token.
MAPX News
As mentioned in the previous post, we are now making solid progress so that MAPX can function without delegations. At the same time, we have seen a healthy increase in sales, which has made this process easier.
Also in the previous post, @ecoinstar asked about the status of MAPX's ABV, our asset backed value. This takes a little time to calculate, hence will reply here.
Our SP has increased further to 8466 STEEM and our voting SP is at 10,167 STEEM, so we are higher than the target 10,000 SP, although still with some delegation. We have also seen an increase in staked tokens to 8446 and our overall MAPX fund is valued at about 10,330 STEEM. This includes holdings within Steem Engine, some of which are worth keeping for the long term whereas others are being gradually sold off and converted to SP.
A reminder that these investments were made at a time when we had significant delegation-miners. They have produced some decent profits, hence why our fund value is more than the target 10,000 STEEM. There is no need to dump such tokens, hence why they are being sold at regular intervals.
So, to finally answer the original question, our ABV is current 1.09 STEEM, which is pretty healthy and close to the current market price. Our VVS is 1.20, meaning the upvotes are 20% above our stated par value. The VVT, which is the VVS divided by the current market price is about 1.09 (pure coincidence that it is exactly the same as the ABV) which means that the market price is about right, maybe very slightly low.
