MAPX Report: News, Updates & Free Votes - TRENDO - 2 October 2019
MAPX continues to increase its SP and now testing the TRENDO tipping token.

We've had some decent sales recently plus we continue the steady sell-off of other assets so as to focus on increasing our SP.
Our voting SP is now at 9,950 STEEM and our own SP is at about 8,250 STEEM. With some 8,200 MAPX tokens staked, we are delivering higher upvotes per token than our par value of 10,000 SP for 10,000 tokens. Indeed, we have seen an increase in staking compared to a week ago, which is good to see.
The other announcement is that, along with the other MAP FinTech programs, we are testing out the TRENDO tipping token. I will start with our daily winners, plus add an extra handful of members per day. You will see the TRENDO tips as comments and you can see your new tokens in the Steem Engine DEX.
In the past, I predicted a bright future for tipping tokens but I don't see this having yet really taken off. Hopefully we can trigger wider adoption. Remember that these tokens are on top of the usual votes given out, but the tips are at a flat rate depending on our stake so will actually benefit most our MAPX members with a low to medium stake.

Bitcoin trading activity in the special administrative region of the People’s Republic of China recorded its largest weekly volume on LocalBitcoins last week, according to data compiled by Coin.dance. For the week ending September 28, roughly $1.56 million in Bitcoin volume was recorded, up from $500,000 in Bitcoin the previous week.
