Yes I think deutschebank is the catalyst but I have to say since everyone in Germany seems to have a little stake in this bank I doubt it will fail. It will have to be propped up in some way. I don't think the world can asset strip Germany like you could in let's say a country like Greece. It's a shame that deutschebank operates the way that it does but if it fails so goes the world. O
DB has playing a dangerous game for years now. They were massively exposed to derivatives over the last few years and I wonder just how much of that exposure has been reduced. Regardless, the fact they were even able to get into that position makes me believe that there is significant management issues across numerous divisions.
