MonochromeMonday - Mushrooms in the Rice Patties !!
I was out visiting some friends in the North-East of Thailand last week it is now rice harvesting season so all the fields are beautiful green patches of rice growing everywhere in the North-East of Thailand and with the rain season it's all maintaining it self healthy and lush green.
With the wet season not only comes a good healthy batch of rice but you also get some pretty huge awesome mushrooms growing around the rice patties.
Now is that one big juicy mushroom the size of a large pizza and a eatable one.
When you walk further up the mountains which we did with the ladies because they know which ones are eatable and the ones that are poisonous you will find many large mushrooms growing all over the place in all shapes and sizes. This one below is a huge oyster mushroom which is safe to eat.
According to the study of poisonous mushrooms their are 70 to 80 species of poisonous mushrooms but they say only a few out of the 70 to 80 species are actually fatal well that's still a lot of mushrooms you need to beware of i am glad the ladies now which ones are eatable they are look juicy to me.
All theses ones and the two photos above the ladies said not to eat otherwise you will be sleeping with the Angels...lol 🌝
Well luckily i had the ladies with me otherwise i would have been picking them all and eaten them and i would of definitely been sleeping with the Angels or extremely high 😎

I'll admit I don't know anything about mushrooms either, other than the ones that I get from the grocery store are safe. :)

Oh! Those are huge mushrooms, my friend! I have never seen something that big. Though I love a restaurant here called "Mushroom Burger." Every burger patty they make is from mushroom.
First time i have seen them that big different climates this year i just love mushrooms in any way 🌝

Haha...i think the green was to hard to kill in mono..yep i was shocked first time i have seen mushrooms that big they certainly made a good spicy mushroom soup..lol 🌝
I bet some colors are just hard for us to convert to mono alone

I lived out by Udon Thani for a while and your photos sure make me miss it. That slow and peaceful life was a wonderful break for me. I loved the cane fields, but sure did not see any mushrooms!
