This is a post for Monochrome Monday hosted by @old-guy-photos A challenge I try to join as often as I can, the other challenges he hosts are Sepia Saturday and Tree Tuesday, all fun challenges and worth checking out.
Now if the title brought you here to see some Wild Lions or even Lions in a zoo I apologize now.

This is one of the Lions outside the main NYC Public Library on 5th Ave, which I have shared shots of before, but for this post I will focus on these lions which stand proudly outside the library building

Another of the Lions sitting proudly and watching over all the New Yorkers and tourists passing by.
Speaking of tourist's if you do visit NYC passing by the Library is worthwhile it's a stylish building and has some very cool Statues and fountains along 5th Ave

How come these lions looked so skinny and famished!! They should be a bit fatter and bigger.

Pretty cool they are not real but the sculpture of these lions are done to perfection they are looking pretty tough standing outside that building :)

Great pictures once more, I especially like the second photo, looks like an old grainy photo. And what a superb sculpture of a lion, I love all feline animals with their rank build, with its carcass shown so nicely.

That is quite a library. Was in there years ago. Today these library's are going the way of the doo-doo bird.
