Fruit and flowers
in monochrome
Found this low palm bursting with fruit and flowers
Caught in the early morning light
The round palm fruit is excellent in black and white
showing off its curves in the shades and tones of light & dark
It is delicate and lovely, catching the morning golden light
If I could get closer, I bet it has a lovely scent too!
They kinda looked like dates
Maybe they are, or one of the family...
You can see the fruits and flowers are halfway down the trunk
Even though at the centre of the fronds, there seems to be another bunch of them!
