Back to my Manual vintage glass.
The first one was shot with my "toy lens", a Pentacon AV 80, manufactured in the old GDR and adapted to fit in my Sony a7.
The subject is a couple of Oxalis flowers that we normally grow here.
Despite being quite sharp that's not its strongest point and surely wasn't the reason why I bought in the first place. The reason was the gorgeous bokeh that it produces.

The next one was also shot with a vintage manual lens, but a "real" one this time, Russian and built almost like a tank...
It was probably one of the most sold and common pieces of glass back in the days.
Mount it on a contemporary full frame camera and it will take you immediately to the bokeh promised land.
For this image I used an Anemone blossom, captured in our sunny and bright balcony.

The only thing I did was the black and white conversion, all the blur is straight from the lenses.

They were both shot in my balcony.
Those vertical lines in the background is the light coming through a thin bamboo fence I have there, to protect some more sensitive plants from the hot sun in summer.
