I photographed these two in Quinta da Regaleira - Sintra - Portugal.
A gorgeous place with a rich history, full of mysteries, architectural and natural beauty.
We can find few of these weird and eerie looking statues scattered through the different gardens, caves and palaces.
This is one of the first ones that I saw.

If I remember correctly the one bellow is a huge flower pot that I came across in one of the higher garden levels.

Amazing pictures and really gorgeous place! I remembered Quinta da Regaleira also as a place where I lost my backpack with passport, driver license and all our money ))) And I put smile of course because I founded it thanks to some people from Brasil. Very memorable place for me now ))) And your pictures like warn: be carefull....
