Teatro Municipal de Puerto Cabello

El Teatro Municipal de Puerto Cabello está emplazado en el casco histórico de esta ciudad portuaria ubicada al norte del estado Carabobo en Venezuela. Inaugurado el 1ro. de enero de 1886, tres años antes de culminar su construcción, se trata de una edificación representativa de la arquitectura neoclásica de finales del Siglo XIX, que sería declarado Monumento Histórico Nacional en 1981. Por sus escenarios han desfilado artistas de renombre mundial como la balletista rusa Ana Pavlova, el compositor y violinista Augusto Brandt y el cantante Carlos Gardel, entre otras figuras.

The Municipal Theater of Puerto Cabello is located in the historic center of this port city located north of the Carabobo state in Venezuela. Opened the 1st of January 1886, three years before completing its construction, and it is a representative building of neoclassical architecture of the late nineteenth century, which would be declared National Historic Monument in 1981. For its stages have paraded world-renowned artists such as the russian ballet dancer Ana Pavlova, the composer and violinist Augusto Brandt and the singer Carlos Gardel, among other figures.
