Monomad Challenge ; the rugged coast line of Isla Espíritu Santo in Baja Mexico

Special for @brumest's #monomad photographic challenge.

Isla Espíritu Santo is sparse, forbidding and deeply impressive.

I would describe the island as no easy friend of man nor beast.

The island has steep hills that usually drop off into cliffs at the coast line. We camped on one of the few natural beaches on the island.

Here I snapped the ubiquitous cactus of Mexico. In this picture the cactus is nestled up against the rocky scree of a hill.

If you come to Baja I can guarantee you will see a lot cactus !
