Monomad Photo Contest - Natural compass

My entry to Monomad Photo Contest hosted by @monochromes is an abstract photo of moss.

Usually growing on the old trees' bark, it is said that it indicates North. Since this Summer it rained on a daily basis, the moss appeared on every piece of living wood. How am I supposed to tell where North is since this green beauty is surrounding the trees' trunks? 🙂
