I was going in the bus moving along Eu Tong Sen Street when I saw this tall building. The tallest public housing as far as I know and I guess the most expensive public housing. 50 storeys up and they have a sky garden that you have to pay to visit unless you are a resident of one of their guests. I have never been invited so far. 😎

I bet the rents are as high as the building LOL!
We have a kind of unique housing system here. What's is public housing means you get to "buy" from the government at subsidised rate and after occupying 5 years you can sell and many times at a profit. Now, about the "buy" part doesn't give you the property. You sort of have a long term lease of over 90+ years.
If you wish rent it out after 5 years (assuming you have another place to stay), then the rental could be quite good more so for the location than the height but some people will of course pay a premium for a better view. I heard you get to see fireworks the different times of the year and from June to August, you see the helicopter fly pass with our flag closer than many people.
