Recently, I went Mapletree Business City for a job interviews. While waiting for the interviewers, I sat and took a photo of the port area. Nice view but too lazy to get up. During the interview, they asked if I think I’m over qualified for the job. I don’t know how I should response. You are either qualified or not qualified. If you think there is such thing as over qualified, why are you wasting your time and my time anyway. I don’t think I’ll get that job. So be it.

I think there is a thing as overqualified. If someone has a lot of high-paying work experience or (useful) college degrees, they aren't a good hire for a "low-status" (i.e. not fancy and not high paying) job like a barista or something. They will probably quit very quickly, even if the job is good.
So, you disapprove of some college grad starting their own hawker style business serving food?
I heard there are quite a number of them doing this in recent years.
Over qualified. That must be crazy question expected of you to answer. If it was me though No will be my answer
I don't think they are looking for a simple Yes or No. So, I gave some story that serves them a neither yes nor no. :-)
That is pretty good
Maybe looking for the positive attitude guy that says he thinks he is just right!
I don't how to answer to sound like that.
