Steemit M.A.C. by @bluemoon, November 2018 - Day 26! - Home Again!

in #monthlyauthorchallenge5 years ago (edited)

Have you heard of this challenge: Steemit Monthly Author Badget? If not, it means you are hearing now... #monthlyauthorchallenge

It's a challenge initiated by @future24 and wants to help us post more in Steemit. Even more ... to post daily. From the first day of the month to the last day. To induce a conditioned reflex inside us, as Pavlov demonstrated with his dog.

Home Again, Naturally!

After exactly one week I made a trip to Transylvania, Romania. I visited 9 cities. In some cities I could stay longer and I had time to see the more beautiful parts and in others I only managed to visit them at night. It was a nice experience and a test of my resistance as I drove the car myself.

At home I saw that winter that started when I left ... now was no longer, it turned again in the autumn. Very colorful autumn in my little yard.

Now home again. I come back to the old habit of proposing a song, a song that I like a lot. Usually old music. The song I'm picking now has nothing to do with the subject of posting ... just the title, it looks like a bit, that's why I remembered it. A song that I really like, Alone Again, (Naturally) ... God, I love it!

Gilbert O'Sullivan - Alone Again

Rules of the Steemit Monthly Author Badget Challenge:

Post 1 article with a photo of your life every day for one month and use the tag #monthlyauthorchallenge for this posts & a recognizable title like "S.M.A.C. by [Your Username], Month X - Day X!" for example!

You don´t have to add a detailed describtion to your photo article and it can be a quick photo post with Steepshot for example too. (But don´t forget the #monthlyauthorchallenge tag & the recognizable post-title!)

It´s not important that the photo of your life is up-to-date, but it shouldn´t be older than 1 year, or you can also choose a photo of your childhood if you like, or a video recorded by yourself etc...

To make it more comfortable for everyone, you don´t have to nominate someone for the challenge every day in your daily post. Nominating is voluntary, but to share this fun, I would suggest to nominate some other Steemians from time to time, so that you can do this funny challenge together.

Your challenge ends when you reached the Monthy Author badget on steemitboard.com and then just make a final post that you finished the challenge. Info: The period for the Monthly Author Badget is always from the first of a calendar month until the last day of this month. 👌

Oh, yes! I listened to Guilbert and Sullivan's "Alone Again, Naturally! Such a melancholy song that brings out some memories. Such a nice one!

Nine cities in seven days is a lot of driving, but, what an interesting drive you brought us on. Somehow, I thought you were going to visit family again.

This is a good challenge that you have done well with!

In my youth, when I was pretty sad, I loved this song! Yes, it was a tour of force for me this week. I did not visit relatives, I just helped a friend who was supposed to be every day in those cities. My friend had suspended his driving license for a month.

I think everyone LOVED this song! Who wasn't in angst as a teen or a young person?

Oh, that certainly was nice of you to do that for your friend! I am sure he appreciated it!! Well, I hope you got some good pictures out of it!

Thank you! A lot of photos, of course.

Wow! What stunning backyard color! I'm envious of your Romania travels. It is a place I always wished to visit.

Thank you! There are so many people who do not know where Romania is. It honors me that you are interested in my country.

Years ago I was at a dinner at a friend's home in France and he invited his neighbors to join us for the meal. Their son was home from the University for the week, and he came to the dinner with two of his friends from school. One of the boys was from Romania and he enjoyed speaking and using his English during dinner and told me many things about his country. After that it went on my list of places that I would have liked to have visited. I regret that I never was able to.

I understand! However, it is great that you visited France, Romania looks a bit like France, but it is less developed and civilized. There are very beautiful places and some that are not too attractive ... like everywhere in the world, I think.

Which places in Romania would you suggest as 'must see' places for a traveler?

Well, the north of the country for traditions, the center, Transylvania for cities and nature, the south, the Danube Delta.

So a month? 10 days in the north, 10 in the center, and 10 in the South. Well, I Can Dream!

Yeah, it's more than enough. It is very nice to dream ... dreams are more beautiful than reality.
